You don’t need to have everything figured out before you reach out — that’s my job. From planning and styling to guiding you through the session and helping you decide how your images will live in your home, I take care of the details so the process feels calm and straightforward. The experience is relaxed, fully guided, and focused on creating meaningful artwork you’ll actually enjoy, not just images that end up forgotten.
The session fee is $750 and includes a $200 artwork credit to use toward printed products.
Final investment depends on how you choose to enjoy your images — whether that’s wall art, albums, or a combination of both. Albums and wall art are the most popular choices, and all printed artwork includes matching, screen-ready digital files for easy sharing.
All details around your session and artwork options are discussed during your design consultation, so you never feel unsure about what comes next.
Expect a calm, unhurried experience led by someone who understands horses and how to work around them safely. Sessions move at the horse’s pace, with thoughtful direction and plenty of space to let natural moments happen. Whether photographing the horse alone or the horse-and-rider connection, the focus is on creating refined, respectful artwork that truly reflects the horse.
The relationship between a horse and rider is unlike any other. It's built over quiet moments—early mornings at the barn, long rides, small victories, and deep trust. Those are the moments these sessions are designed to celebrate.
As a rider myself, I understand horses, their behavior, and how to work with them safely and respectfully. I know how to position both horse and rider naturally, when to wait for the right expression, and how to create images that feel effortless instead of posed. You don't have to worry about what to do or whether your horse will cooperate—I'll guide you through the entire experience while giving your horse the time and patience they deserve.
The result is artwork that reflects not just how you and your horse looked, but what your partnership felt like.
The session fee is $595 and includes a $75 artwork credit to use toward printed products.

If three or more horses at the same barn are booked for the same date, the session fee is reduced to $515 per horse
Fine art sessions take place at your barn, using a simple shaded barn aisle to create beautifully refined, artistic images. I’ll thoughtfully guide each pose to showcase your horse’s expression, conformation, and unique personality. The result is a striking piece of artwork that allows your horse to truly take center stage—something you’ll be proud to display in your home and enjoy every day.
Every horse has a presence that’s hard to put into words until you’ve loved one. The quiet confidence, the curious expressions, the little quirks that make them unmistakably yours. Fine art horse portraits are designed to capture those details in a timeless, artistic way.
As a rider myself, I understand how to work with horses patiently, safely, and without rushing. Each portrait is created using a black or white background and carefully controlled lighting, so your horse’s expression, conformation, and personality can really shine. We move at your horse’s pace, keeping the experience calm, relaxed, and as stress-free as possible.
The finished portrait is more than just a photograph—it’s a piece of custom artwork that celebrates the horse who means so much to you.

Start by getting in touch so we can connect by phone. This conversation is about making sure we’re the right fit — I’ll answer your questions, learn what you’re looking for, and explain how the experience works before you commit to anything.
Once we decide it’s a good fit, your session is officially booked with payment of the session fee. This secures your date and includes your artwork credit. From there, we’ll move into planning.
step one
This is where we plan the session together. We’ll talk through wardrobe, location, and the overall look and feel, but we’ll also discuss how you want to enjoy your images in your home. Whether you’re dreaming of a single statement piece on the wall or an album you can flip through, I take the lead in designing a session that supports that vision from the start.
step two
Time to pick your favorites! About a week after your session, you’ll come back into my studio to view a carefully curated selection of your images, lightly polished, and we’ll choose your favorites together. This is where we design your wall art and/or album, and I’ll create visual mockups so you can see how everything will look in your space before ordering.
step four
After your ordering appointment, I’ll fully retouch your selected images. This process takes about two weeks before artwork goes into production.
Once complete, finished pieces are ready for you! Wall art sized 20×30 and larger includes delivery and professional installation by a trusted art installer. Smaller pieces and albums are available for pickup at the studio.
