You don’t need to have everything figured out before you reach out — that’s my job. From planning and styling to guiding you through the session and helping you decide how your images will live in your home, I take care of the details so the process feels calm and straightforward. The experience is relaxed, fully guided, and focused on creating meaningful artwork you’ll actually enjoy, not just images that end up forgotten.
The session fee is $950 and includes a $500 artwork credit to use toward printed products.
Final investment depends on how you choose to enjoy your images — whether that’s wall art, albums, or a combination of both. Albums and wall art are the most popular choices, and all printed artwork includes matching, screen-ready digital files for easy sharing.
All details around your session and artwork options are discussed during your design consultation, so you never feel unsure about what comes next.
Expect a calm, unhurried experience led by someone who understands horses and how to work around them safely. Sessions move at the horse’s pace, with thoughtful direction and plenty of space to let natural moments happen. Whether photographing the horse alone or the horse-and-rider connection, the focus is on creating refined, respectful artwork that truly reflects the horse.
Equestrian sessions are designed and photographed by someone who truly understands horses — because I’m a rider myself. I’m familiar with equine behavior, movement, and safety, and I know how to work around horses in a way that keeps everyone comfortable and calm.
That experience matters. I know how to position a horse so they look their best, when to wait, when to adjust, and when to step back. Whether we’re creating fine art portraits of the horse alone or capturing the connection between horse and rider, sessions are unhurried, intentional, and guided with care.
The goal is never to force a moment, but to create images that feel natural, respectful, and beautiful — finished as artwork that truly reflects the horse and the partnership you share.
Start by getting in touch so we can connect by phone. This conversation is about making sure we’re the right fit — I’ll answer your questions, learn what you’re looking for, and explain how the experience works before you commit to anything.
Once we decide it’s a good fit, your session is officially booked with payment of the session fee. This secures your date and includes your artwork credit. From there, we’ll move into planning.
step one
This is where we plan the session together. We’ll talk through wardrobe, location, and the overall look and feel, but we’ll also discuss how you want to enjoy your images in your home. Whether you’re dreaming of a single statement piece on the wall or an album you can flip through, I take the lead in designing a session that supports that vision from the start.
step two
Time to pick your favorites! About a week after your session, you’ll come back into my studio to view a carefully curated selection of your images, lightly polished, and we’ll choose your favorites together. This is where we design your wall art and/or album, and I’ll create visual mockups so you can see how everything will look in your space before ordering.
step four
After your ordering appointment, I’ll fully retouch your selected images. This process takes about two weeks before artwork goes into production.
Once complete, finished pieces are ready for you! Wall art sized 20×30 and larger includes delivery and professional installation by a trusted art installer. Smaller pieces and albums are available for pickup at the studio.
